Obstetrical Services

Other Women’s Services

At Natchez Community Hospital we not only care for women, we care about them. That is why, when women need surgery, they choose a hospital that makes them feel comfortable. After all, women have unique needs, especially when it comes to their health care. Natchez Community Hospital offers nearly any surgical procedure specific to women and the educational support needed to make an informed decision. But what truly sets Natchez Community apart is the genuine sense of caring the doctors and nurses there have for the patients and their families.

One prime example is the cholescystectomy, a procedure in which the gallbladder is removed through the laparascope. Gallbladder surgery formerly meant having a major abdominal incision and a week’s stay in the hospital. Laparoscopy offers women the benefit of a much smaller incision, approximately one-half inch long, resulting in a shortened hospital stay and recovery period.

We also offer mammography for the early detection of breast cancer and stereotactic breast biopsy to obtain a precise sample of a breast lump without invasive surgery. 

Pediatric Services

Your children are your world and when they hurt, you hurt. At Natchez Community Hospital, you can rest assured that your child will be treated by a professional team of physicians, nurses and support personnel who will treat your child the way they would want their own children treated in a medical setting.

In addition to the common surgeries children often undergo – tonsillectomies, ear tubes, appendectomy, etc., we also offer dental restorative surgery.
